Banana Nut Butter Buckwheat Cookies (Grain-Free)

These sweet cookies use a unique ingredient to make them grain-free: buckwheat flour (not actually wheat)! Your family is sure to love the flavors of these banana nut butter cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 over-ripe banana mashed (about 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter almond, peanut, etc.
  • 1/4 cup honey local is always best
  • 1/3 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mash the banana, then add in remaining ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  • Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
