Strawberry Banana Donuts with Honey Cream Cheese Frosting
These fruity strawberry banana donuts are topped with a rich cream cheese frosting that puts them over the top!
Servings: 24 donuts
- 1 1/2 cup bananas mashed (about 3 medium)
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup coconut flour packed
- 1/2 cup strawberries diced
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened
- 2-3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat donut maker.
In mixing bowl, mash bananas. Add in eggs, honey and vanilla.
Mix well and stir in remaining ingredients. Let stand for a few minutes.
Bake two heaping tablespoonfuls of batter for 12 minutes in donut maker.
In separate bowl whip cream cheese, honey and vanilla. Frost cooled donuts.
Makes about 2 dozen medium-sized donuts.
