Easy Hot Chicken Salad (low-carb)

- 2 cups chicken cooked and cubed
- 2 cups celery thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup almonds sliced, toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons dried minced onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 8 oz sliced water chestnuts 1 can
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix everything except the cheese in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes to warm through. Add the cheese to the top of the mixture during the last 5 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
