1. I entered my e-mail address but never received an e-mail with the freebie.
After you enter your e-mail address, you are redirected to a page that contains the information to claim the freebie. Most of the time the freebie will be downloadable from that page. On occasion, we will send the freebie via e-mail, but only when the freebie page indicates such.
2. I accidentally closed the page that has the details to claim the freebie. Help!
Go back to the page where you entered your e-mail address and enter your e-mail again. You will be redirected back to the page with the freebie downloads and/or details. (No, this does not mean you are subscribed to our list twice. It merely confirms that you are already subscribed.)
3. How do I download and open a zip file?
If you click or tap on a link that is a zip file, the file should download automatically to your computer. A browser window or tab might also open, but you can ignore this; just close that tab. Find where the zip file was downloaded. Many computers automatically save files to a “Downloads” directory or on the desktop. If you can’t find the file, go to your computer’s search feature and search for the file by name. Once you know where the zip file is located, follow the instructions below to “unzip” the file (based on your operating system):
4. My files opened in a new browser tab or window. How do I save them to my computer?
Some browsers open files in a new browser tab or window. In most browsers, this is what you should do: Go to the tab that shows the file, then go to “File” in the menu above and choose “Save As” or “Save Page As.” Your computer will then give you the option to save the file wherever you like.
5. Adobe says it can’t read the files I just got.
Assuming you downloaded the file(s) to your computer, unzipped it (if it was zipped), tried to open the file(s), and got an error message, you will need to look at this page at Adobe.com to diagnose the problem. If the file itself has a problem (i.e. the problem is on our end), we’ll find out pretty soon after people start trying to get it and fix it promptly. You can always re-download it from the download page once it is fixed (see questions #1 and #2). If the problem is with your Adobe Reader or the operating system of your computer, follow the instructions on that help page. For instance, you might need to…
- Re-download the file directly to your hard drive and try opening it from there
- Update, repair, or reinstall Abode
- Ensure your OS can recognize PDFs
6. I tried to download the freebie on my phone, but now the file won’t open.
Many phones don’t have the necessary software to open the file types of the freebies. Take note of the page where the freebies are located and visit the same page on your computer. If you can’t find the page again, see the answer to question #2.
7. The freebie is over and I forgot to claim it. Is it too late?
Yes. Our sponsors only agree to offer their products for free for a limited period of time.
8. Can I share the freebie with my friends?
Every freebie has copyright protection, just like physical books, and cannot be shared. Instead, share the link to where your friends can subscribe so they can follow the steps to claim the free offer themselves.
9. I want the freebie, but do I have to subscribe to Intoxicated On Life?
Yes. These freebies are for our subscribers only, because we think our subscribers are cool people!
10. Do you share my e-mail address with anyone when I claim the freebie offer?
Both Intoxicated On Life and the sponsor of each individual freebie will receive your e-mail address. Nobody else will receive your e-mail address. If you do not want us or the sponsor to receive your e-mail address, please do not claim the freebie offer.

I clicked on the “Christmas Printables and Planner”. The only documents that were in the download were for the planner. The printables (that were listed in the e-mail that is pasted below) were not in items that downloaded.
“Christmas Printables ($4 value): This includes activities for children, homemade decor, gift tags, printable bows and tutorials, advent calendars and more”
Thank you for the other freebie stuff!

My apologies! There was a misunderstanding with the sponsor. I NOW have a link for the printables that you can download.
Kim
Thank you! I was able to get it and download it. Thank you for these great freebies!
Rachel
Thanks for the Christmas freebies! However, the links in the 101 More Days ebook do not work in the browser or as a download. There are some really cute printable things, but I can’t get to them! Thanks in advance…
Trisha Gilkerson
Hi Rachel,
I’m sorry about that. Our sponsor JUST finished the book prior to this offer and she didn’t realize all of the links were broken. I believe she will be emailing everyone a copy of the book with corrected links.

I got the kids ebooks about obeying and the journal for older kids. After looking at them though I’m wondering how they are intended for use? There’s an awful lot of color on each page that would be very expensive to print even just at home with my own ink. Are there black and white options that have more simple graphics?
Trisha Gilkerson
I’m assuming you’re talking about the freebies we offered from Not Consumed a while back? I don’t believe these are available in black and white, at least the free version is not. I believe she does have both of these journals available on Amazon in a printed softcover version though.

I have not been able to find how to download the free kids in the word New Testament? All I could find was Matthew. Is there something I am doing wrong? I purchased the write through the Bible jr during the sales promotion. Thanks!
Trisha Gilkerson
Hi Danielle,
If you follow the link to Kids in the Word, you’ll land on a page with a short form to fill out. Fill out the form and you’ll receive an email with 3 downloads. This will be your full New Testament journal. Hope that helps!

I have downloaded the files for the Writing bundle, but I can’t download the audio file. When I click on it, it automatically stars to play. I’m using a Mac, any suggestions?
Trisha Gilkerson
I’m sorry for my delayed response to this. Were you ever able to figure it out? If not, please shoot me an email and I”ll be sure to get you the audio file.
Kristin
I am trying to download the Halloween alternatives and it just will not go through. It doesn’t even give me the option to put in my e-mail. Please help! Thanks!
Trisha Gilkerson
Hi Kristin,
Apologies for that. We didn’t realize that it was broken until recently. It’s fixed now, so you can try again! 🙂
