Laying the Foundation is a 30-lesson study of the Apostles’ Creed, the most widely used Christian creed in the world. Earliest versions of the Creed date back to the beginning of the third century. For centuries, parents and pastors have taught the Apostles’ Creed as “Christianity 101″—and this Bible study helps to continue that tradition. Each lesson is grounded in a passage of Scripture, walking children through the Creed line by line, thought by thought. Each lesson contains:
- An opening thought to prepare your kids for the lesson
- A Scripture reading
- An explanation of that passage in simple terms
- Discussion questions
- A prayer
