Luke and I are a bit unconventional sometimes. We had a very small private ceremony when we were married, with just our immediate families were present. After the ceremony, where did we have dinner with our family? You better believe it—at our favorite Mexican restaurant of course!
When we’re on the road with the kids, we frequently stop at Mexican restaurants (1) because we all love Mexican food and (2) because it’s usually easy to find gluten-free food options.
Out of all the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to (and I’ve been to a lot), I’ve not often found salsa I enjoy as much as this easy recipe.
So when you’re making the Mexican at home, don’t skip the homemade salsa. You’ll wow your company, wow your spouse, and wow your kids. With just 5 ingredients, and 7 minutes, it’s worth the small extra effort.
This fresh 7 Minute homemade salsa will rival even your favorite Mexican restaurant’s salsa.
7 Minute Homemade Salsa Recipe
- Canned or fresh tomatoes
- Garlic optional
- Put your jalapenos, onions, and cilantro in the food processor and finely chop. Add the rest of your ingredients and whiz around in your food processor to mix.
This homemade salsa is so easy, you can whip it up in just 7 minutes. Just do it. You’ll be so glad you took the extra 7 minutes to do make this salsa instead of opening a jar.
